Steps you
can take
Verify that
you have the Symantec Anti-Virus client, or another anti-virus client
installed on your system and that it has the latest virus definition
files installed. To do this, use your programs menu to open "Symantec
Client Security, Symantec Anti-Virus". When the program opens, click on
the "Live Update" button to update your system with the latest virus
definitions.
If you do
not have Symantec Anti-Virus installed, contact the MIS Group to obtain
the software and install it asap.
Back up any
data stored on your local drives to network servers which are backed up
nightly. Another alternative is to back up your data files to CD.
Thank you
for your cooperation. Your vigilance can protect your data.
