The first Ph.D. degree in the Veldman family

Tim Veldman has successfully defended his dissertation on March 8 and was awarded his Doctorate degree (Ph.D.) in Cancer Biology from Georgetown University.

Tim's has accepted a research position at Duke University in Raleigh, North Carolina. He will continue his research in Cervical Cancer.

Robin Veldman received her Master's degree in Speech and Language Therapy from the University of Maryland. She now works as a therapist in the early intervention program for Montgomery County Schools, Maryland.
