Bumblebee The "Good" Transformer - Apr-18-2012

The VEE corporation in Minneapolis, who owns the Sesame Street Live tour, build a Transformer for the Indianapolis Children's Museum
Dominick was tasked with the job of creating "Bumblebee"
 

The final product is based on a six foot (2 meter) yellow GM Camaro toy car and was delivered to the museum on Jan-2-2012

They have just announced the following on their website (notice the BEE)

They have made a formal commitment

 

Dominick Veldman and Chris Shoemaker  share a house in Osceola, Wisconsin and eight years of love.

As of Thursday Feb-16-2012, Wisconsin recognizes that commitment. They signed up in Polk County under Wisconsin's domestic partnership registry.

The law went into effect over two years ago on Monday, Aug-3-2009. Wisconsin grants gay couples more than 40 of the 200 legal rights previously reserved for married couples -- including hospital visitation, final planning and employment leave rights and others.
 

After the signing we went for a great lunch at a restaurant overlooking the river separating Wisconsin from Minnesota
Upon return to their house, Chris and their friend Mishka prepared a delicious dinner
It included my favorite French dish "Moule a la creme" (Mussels in a cream sauce)
Red and white wine served as a perfect compliment to dinner and the days event

Dominick made his own costume being Iron Man
 
Iron Man is a fictional character, a superhero that appears in comic books published by Marvel Comics. The character first appeared in Tales of Suspense #39 (March 1963), and was created by writer-editor Stan Lee, scripter Larry Lieber, and artists Don Heck and Jack Kirby.
